WIN2024

CAR or CA$H for Healthcare Lottery With 50/50 Raffle  

The Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor (AGH FVM) Foundation was approved in 2021 as eligible to apply for a provincial license. 

The AGH-FVM Foundation works with our community to generate significant and dependable funds for the equipment, technology and training requirements of the AGH and FVM.  We will respect the wishes of our donors, contribute to the excellent reputation of the Hospital and Manor, oversee the collection of gifts and prudently manage our funds and investments.

This WIN2024 Car or Ca$h for Healthcare Lottery (WIN2024) and 50/50 Raffle is run in partnership with the Carleton Place District Memorial Hospital Foundation (CPDMHF). All net proceeds are split 50/50 with our partnering hospital foundation.  

ELIGIBILITY 

  1. Ticket purchasers must be in the province of Ontario at time of purchase. 
  2. Purchasers must be at least 18 years of age. 
  3. Tickets cannot be purchased for or in the name of someone less than 18 years of age. 
  4. The following persons are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the WIN2024 Car or Ca$h for Healthcare Lottery and 50/50 Raffle:
  1. a) AGH FVM Foundation staff and Board of Directors;
  2. b) CPDMH Foundation staff and Board of Directors; 
  3. c) Bean Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette Ltd. Owners and employees;
  4. d) The Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Senior Team, the Almonte General Hospital- Fairview Manor Senior Team, and Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) Directors; 
  5. e) Employees of the registered gaming supplier, BUMP a Division of Canadian Bank Note Company Ltd.
  6. f) Members of the same household of each of the above; and
  7. g) Employees of the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario.

 

TICKETS 

    1. Total value of all prizes for the WIN2024 is $168,688.84. 
    2. Total value of the 50/50 Raffle is to be 50% of all ticket sales.
    3. A maximum of 33,734 tickets are available for purchase. 
    4. Ticket price for WIN2024 are $25 CAD each, 5 for $100 CAD, or $300 for 20 (max. of 250 bundles).  
  • Ticket prices for the additional option of the 50/50 raffle are $10 for 5, $20 for 20, $50 for 100 and $100 for 250.. *50/50 Tickets can only be purchased with a valid purchase of a WIN2024 ticket. 
    1. All valid tickets will be included in the Early Bird prize draws, including the early bird winning tickets, will be included in all additional Early Bird draws and the Grand Prize draw.
    2. The player is solely responsible for ensuring they receive the correct ticket denomination and solely responsible for the handling of the purchased ticket(s) after the online or Point of Service (POS) device purchase has issued the ticket. 
    3. All players must be over the age of 18 years and be physically located within the province of Ontario at the time of purchase. 

    PRIZES 

    EARLY BIRD DRAWS:  

    1. The 1st Early-Bird Draw is valued at $2,500 for a grocery shopping spree at Jonsson’s YIG, Almonte, ON. All qualifying tickets for the 1st Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024. 
    2. The 2nd Early-Bird Draw is valued at $2,500 for a grocery shopping spree at Anderson’s YIG in Carleton Place, ON. All qualifying tickets for the 2nd Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
    3. The 1st Early-Bird Draw will occur at 8 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at the AGH-FVM Foundation office located at 75 Spring St., Almonte, Ontario K0A 1A0. 
    4. The 2nd Early-Bird Draw will occur at 8 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at the AGH-FVM Foundation office located at 75 Spring St., Almonte, Ontario K0A 1A0.
    5. The 3rd Early-Bird Draw is an Adult Side-By-Side CFMOTO ATV donated by Throttle Powersports Almonte valued at $22,081.76. All qualifying tickets for the 3rd Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024. 
    6. The 3rd Early-Bird Draw will take place at 8 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at the AGH-FVM Foundation office located at 75 Spring St., Almonte, Ontario K0A 1A0.
    7. The 4th Early-Bird Draw is a Golf Day for four (4) donated by the Mississippi Golf Club, valued at $1,211.36 and a one year membership to Kevin Haime Golf Centre plus a MRH Odyssey TriHot putter  all valued at $971.78. All qualifying tickets for the 4th Early-Bird Draw must be purchased 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2024. 
    8. The 4th Early-Bird Draw will take place at 8 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2024, at the AGH-FVM Foundation office located at 75 Spring St., Almonte, Ontario K0A 1A0. 
    9. The 5th  Early-Bird Draw is a cash prize of $5,000. All qualifying tickets for the 5th Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday May 23, 2024. 
    10. The 5th Early-Bird Draw will take place at 8 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2024, at the AGH-FVM Foundation office located at 75 Spring St., Almonte, Ontario K0A 1A0.
    11. The 6th Early Bird Draw is a Broil King BBQ donated by Levi Home Hardware valued at $11,411.87 and a meat freezer package from the Beckwith Butcher valued at $1,699.  All qualifying tickets for the 6th Early Bird draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
    12. The 6th Early-Bird Draw will take place at 8 a.m. Friday, June 07, 2024, at the AGH-FVM Foundation office located at 75 Spring St., Almonte, Ontario K0A 1A0.
    13. The 7th Early Bird Draw is a Day at the Racetrack donated by Calabogie Raceway, valued at $5,000. All qualifying tickets for the 6th Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday June 20, 2024.
    14. The 7th Early-Bird Draw will take place at 8 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2024, at the AGH-FVM Foundation office located at 75 Spring St., Almonte, Ontario K0A 1A0.

    GRAND PRIZE:  

    1. The 8th and final draw is the Grand Prize for the winner’s choice of a 2024 Sting Ray 1LT Convertible valued at $115,643.07 OR $100,000 CASH. All qualifying tickets for the 8th and final Grand Prize Draw must be purchased by 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024. 
    2. The Grand Prize Draw will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, 455 McNeely Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C 0A1. 
    3. For all prizes, it is the winning ticket holder’s responsibility to claim, arrange for and pick up the prize at their own expense.

    50/50 RAFFLE:  

    1. The 50/50 Raffle prize is 50% of the total gross 50/50 ticket sales. All qualifying tickets for the 50/50 Raffle draw must be purchased by 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. 
    2. The draw for the 50/50 Raffle will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at 455 McNeely Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C 0A1.
    3. All prizes must be claimed within 6 months of the relevant draw date(s) unless otherwise specified by the Almonte General Hospital Foundation (AGH FVM F) and its partner the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation (CPDMHF). 
    4. For groups purchasing (1) ticket, group winners will select one individual to handle the distribution of the prize associated with the winning ticket.
    5. Almonte General Hospital-Fairview Manor Foundation (AGHFVMF) will not award a prize for tickets which are void. Tickets are void if lost, stolen, unissued, illegible, mutilated, damaged, altered, counterfeited or forged, miscut, misregistered, defective, misprinted, cancelled, produced in error and not recorded in the on-line system, incomplete, not paid for, destroyed or issued, acquired or presented, in, or upon, violation of these Rules, or the Game Conditions. Void tickets are the property of the Almonte General Hospital-Fairview Manor Foundation. 

    TICKET PURCHASE 

      1. All tickets for the WIN2024 Car or Ca$h for Healthcare Lottery AND the accompanying 50/50 Raffle are sold through BUMP, A Division of Canadian Bank Note, systems and website. 
      2. The official online website for ticket sales is win2024lottery.ca. Tickets sold through the website are provided to the ticket holder via a valid email address. Tickets may also be sold via face-to-face sales with Point-of-Sale (POS) machines at various locations throughout the region, starting midnight on March 28, 2024, to 7 p.m. July 3, 2024. Tickets sold through POS devices are provided to the ticket holder via printed ticket.  The POS devices also provide an option for tickets to be emailed to the purchaser as long as the purchaser provides their correct email address.   
      3. All valid tickets will be included in the Early Bird prize draws, including the early-bird winning tickets, will be included in all additional Early Bird and the Grand Prize draw.
      4. During the online and POS device checkout process, purchasers have the option to buy an additional 50/50 Raffle ticket. To purchase a 50/50 Raffle ticket, a WIN2024 Car or Ca$h for Healthcare Lottery ticket must be purchased EACH TIME. 
      5. A valid ticket is receipt and proof of purchase.
      6. Ticket sales can be purchased by debit or credit card only. No cash or cheque purchases will be accepted. 
      7. All ticket sales are final at the time of purchase. No refunds will be issued for any ticket sales. 
      8. If a ticket which is purchased or issued is void, or deemed to be void, the Almonte General Hospital-Fairview Manor Foundation (AGHFVMF) may replace the ticket with a new random ticket of the same denomination. At no time will a refund be issued for the purchased ticket. 
      9. Only valid tickets are eligible for the draw. All ticket purchasers must provide the original ticket copy. No photocopies or picture copies of the ticket will be accepted. 
      10. All ticket purchasers must provide an email address, telephone number and a valid credit card to complete the purchase of their tickets.
      11. Tickets can only be issued to the owner of the credit card and prizes must be claimed by the owner named on the credit card. 
  • Tax receipts cannot be issued for ticket purchases.  

    • DRAW 

    1. Winning ticket numbers, name and place of residence of the winner(s) will be recorded and announced at 9 a.m. after each draw on Pure Country Radio (Smiths Falls), through the event website and on the partners’ social media platforms.
    2. Lottery winners will be notified by a representative of the Almonte General Hospital-Fairview Manor Foundation. Such notification will include information about the prize claim procedure. 
    3. Winning ticket number and name of winner will be broadcast by the WIN  2024 Hospital Raffle System at win2024lottery.ca.
    4. All Early-Bird prizes will be recorded and announced at 9 a.m. after each draw on Pure Country Radio, through the event website and social media platforms.
    5. The Grand prize will be announced at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at 375 McNeely Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C 0A1.
    6. The Grand prize is the choice of a 2024 Sting Ray 1LT Convertible OR $100,000 CASH. If choosing the 2024 Sting Ray 1LT Convertible, the winner must take delivery as awarded at Bean Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette Ltd. by a representative of the dealership and Almonte General Hospital-Fairview Manor Foundation. Delivery of the vehicle is P.O.D., Carleton Place, Ontario.
    7. The winner is responsible for insurance from the time of delivery/ownership and must keep the vehicle for at least 12 months before re-selling.  Bean Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette Ltd. has the right to first refusal to buy back of the 2024 Sting Ray 1LT Convertible. 
    8. The draw for the 50/50 Raffle add-on will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at 375 McNeely Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C 0A1.

    SECURITY AND SAFETY 

    Policies and Procedures: 

    1. Data Integrity and Backup: BUMP, A DIVISION OF CBN, is an AGCO approved provider for the electronic raffle and will be providing the RNG System. They have advised the Foundation that they have automatic backups for all raffle sales data and that it will be available from their secure servers.
    2. System Failures: BUMP, A DIVISION OF CBN, will provide access to the RNG system. The RNG is web based and can be accessed only by authorized persons through any computer connected to the internet. If the system were to fail at the time of a scheduled draw, all attempts to rectify the fault would be made so that the draw could be made as soon as is practicable.

    If we are unable to complete the draw due to circumstances such as a power outage, then the draw would be rescheduled to the earliest opportunity and held in the same fashion as outlined above. No future draws or sales would be held until the delayed draw is completed and the system is repaired.

    PRIVACY POLICY: 

    Personal information is collected for the sole purpose of completing ticket sales, identifying ticket purchasers and providing information to purchasers about WIN2024 and future AGHFVM Foundation and CPDMH Foundation joint lotteries. Information, in whole or in part, will not be communicated to parties outside of involvement in the conduct of this lottery.  

    TERMS/VOCABULARY 

    In these Rules of Play, and in all electronic or printed material related to this lottery: 

    1. a) “AGCO” means the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario; b) “Win2024 Lottery System” means the AGCO approved electronic lottery system designed by BUMP a Division of Canadian Bank Note and operated by Almonte General Hospital-Fairview Manor Foundation for the conduct of this lottery. 
    2. b) “Dashboard” means the Dashboard component of the computer-controlled system designed by Canadian Bank Note for the conduct of this lottery; 

    “Draw” means the random selection of a winning ticket number by Almonte General Hospital-Fairview Foundation through the Win2024 lottery system. 

    “Player” means a person who is eligible to participate in this lottery in accordance with the Rules and Regulations. 

    “Prize” means the consideration or item identified by the AGH FVM Foundation that is provided to the winner of a draw in return for the purchase of a valid ticket. 

    “Ticket Number” means a unique numerical sequence randomly issued by the Win2024 Lottery System as set out on a Valid Ticket. 

    “Valid Ticket” means a Win2024 Lottery ticket issued by the Almonte General Hospital-Fairview Manor Foundation that is not void. 

    “Winner” means the person who is the bearer of a winning ticket and who satisfies all conditions established by the Almonte General Hospital-Fairview Manor Foundation to claim the prize.  

    “Winning Number” means the number of a valid ticket selected as the winner during a draw, 

    “Winning Ticket” means a valid ticket that bears a ticket number matching the winning number of a draw. 

     

    These Rules and Regulations are effective as of March 28, 2024.
